In Premiere Pro it's as easy as drag and drop into my timeline to get a fast and efficient sense of how a particular edit is working with music. I have a ton of soundtracks encoded as mp3 and m4a files (and some even as aiff or wav, but at 44.1khz) that I like to use as a temp music resource. I can give you a very practical example of why it would be welcome for Resolve to be sample rate agnostic and support consumer type of formats such as. I appreciate your input on this forum, but sometimes I wish you'd consider thinking a bit outside the box and trying at least to understand that not everyone's workflow and needs are identical to yours. Skimping on sound quality is a very poor choice, whether it's from an amateur or a so-called professional. But an MP3 is still a very poor choice for sound.
